Yarin Mari Peled Z"l
From youth, Yarin was drawn to medicine and volunteering, excelled in sports, and played professional volleyball. Volunteering at MDA from 15, she became a respected medic and youth mentor, a charismatic, beloved station figure. She served as a combat medic at Nahal Oz outpost, standing out for her professionalism and devotion. Loving medicine, she planned to study nursing and paramedicine, choosing career service out of a sense of mission. On October 7, 2023, Yarin fell fighting terrorists who breached the outpost. She was 20. Family and peers describe her as a social anchor, radiant, strong, and gentle—capturing hearts, providing security and love.
